What is a Filta Crunch?
FC01 is a re-creation of an insert signal chain used in many studios when tracking drums, instruments or vocals for recording. It consists of a classic Moog* type filter, a tube amp drive similar to the ARM 101, and nice straight forward waveshaper with gain, gain squared, and gain cubed respectively.
Why we like it.
Just like in the computer world where "garbage in = garbage out," the same often holds true in the music production world. A lame recording can rarely be saved with post processing. FC01 is a nice tool to help beef up kicks, add sizzle to a snare, or just add a bit of distortion to allow a vocal to cut through a mix. The waveshaper helps to set the FC01 apart from the pack. Waveshaping is a popular synthesis-and-transformation technique that turns simple sounds into complex sounds. You can take a pure tone, like a sine wave, and transform it into a harmonically rich sound by changing its shape. A guitar fuzz box is an example of a waveshaper. The unamplified electric guitar sound is fairly close to a sine wave. But the fuzz box amplifies it and gives it sharp corners.
Why we think you will like it.
A) Its free. B) its good. C) Its got dual channel amp gain D) see A, B, and C.

A Reverb? Really? Reverb?
Yes. Liquid Verb is a reverb. Actually, it is a re-creation of Modulated Reverb found in high end studios. Modulated reverb is a reverb effect seasoned with some (any) form of modulation (e.g., pitch fluctuation, frequency fluctuation, or volume fluctuation). Chorus, Tremolo, Vibrato, or Flange are just a few examples of modulation.
Why we like it.
Reverb is
an audio effect that results from reflective sound bouncing off walls or other
objects. Imagine going to the top of a
mountain surrounded by other mountains and clapping your hands. Moments later you hear a kind of repeat of your hand clap.
This is reverb. It is very similar to delay but not exactly the same. Most musicans only learn to use reverb at the end of a signal chain. That is fine if you are just recording a simple tune. However, if you want to produce songs where the soundscape, sense of space and stereo field evolves (think scoring movies and games) then you need to start modulating the reverb in some way. Major studios spend big money to get it right. Liquid Verb does a nice job of introducing the flavor of some of that highend modulated reverb to the masses. Unless you already have the budget for products made by manufacturers like Eventide*, Lexicon* or TC Electronics*, you should give Liquid Verb a listen.
Why we think you will like it.
Liquid Verb is designed to inspire experimentation and knob tweaking. If you like Chillout, Ambient, PsyChill, Liquid Dubstep, Deep House, Liquid DnB, and other modern genres of electronic music, we think you will like Liquid Verb.

A Delay SonicXTC?
Liquid Delay is a re-creation of a Modulated Delay effect found in high end studios. Modulated Delay is a delay effect where the stereo delay signal is subsequently modulated to create additional sonic interest (e.g., pitch fluctuation, frequency fluctuation, or volume fluctuation). In Liquid Delay, the stereo delay signal is processed with a flange effect and a filter. For added dynamics the filter is connected to a programmable step Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO).
Why we like it.
Like its big brother the Flux Delay, Liquid Delay allows musicians to experiment with the Haas effect and the Doppler effect (e.g., rotating speaker relies on these scientific principles). However, the Liquid Delay has its own little tricks up its sleeve due to how the signal chain is internally routed. Like its cousin the Liquid Verb, Liquid Delay is designed to inspire knob tweaking and experimentation. They both compliment each other to provide even more sonic punch.
Why we think you will like it.
Again, if you like Chillout, Ambient, PsyChill, Liquid Dubstep, Deep House, Liquid DnB, Reggae and other modern genres of electronic music, we think you will like Liquid Delay.

Seriously, this tonic often hits the spot. Tonic Juice is a re-creation of a common studio effects chain where a chorus can be used to allow background tones to sit better in a mix, the flanger can be used to give harmonically rich sounds more presence, and the envelope follower can be used to provide more tonal interest and movement to a sound. The way the signal is internally routed in Tonic Juice permits these effects to work well together or independently.
Why we like it.
As with phasing, a chorus and a flanger use two signal paths, one dry and one processed. With a flanger the processed sound is delayed by several milliseconds as well as being modulated. The underlying technology of a flanger is almost identical to that of a chorus, except that a chorus tends to use slightly longer delay times and doesn't feed any of the output signal back into the input like a flanger does. Tonic Juice provides the best of what a chorus and flanger can offer and combines the two in a manner where the sum is greater than the individual parts. When you add the power of an envelope follower filter unit triggered by the input volume of a signal, then you have the recipe for some serious creativity. Tonic Juice is much more subtle than similar effect chains used by artists like Stevie Wonder (think "Superstition"), but it is way more versatile and can be used to enhance and create interest to almost any signal run through it.
Why we think you will like it.
Most studio rats have there own favorite effect chains that they go to time and again. Tonic Juice is one of our favorites and we think that you will consider it a nice tool to prompt some creativity when inspiration is difficult to find. Besides, when was the last time you used an envelope follower on a drum loop?

Fusion Delay 2.0- VST 2.4 Effect Now Available Below!
To our knowledge, Fusion Delay is the only free VST Plugin to use sonic "Acoustic Dispersion" effects. Acoustic dispersion is the phenomenon of a sound wave separating into its component frequencies as it passes through a medium . The phase velocity of the resulting sound waves can create interesting and unique sound movement (an example is the classic Star Wars Laser sound). The "Plasma" section utilizes our acoustic dispersion modeling technology (with time syncopation) and it can be fused with the "Delay" section by using the "Fusion" controls. Adjusting the Plasma gain cycles through the modeled mediums which are - Air (minimal to small frequency dispersion), Glass Bottle (small to moderate frequency dispersion) and Plastic Bottle (moderate to significant frequency dispersion).
Why we like it.
Sometimes you need a delay that adds a little (or alot) extra to a sound that stands out from the crowd. Fusion Delay fills the bill in a musical way and it can sync to the beat. Moveover, it is equally at home creating glitch effects as it is with creating otherworldy spacial delays.
Why we think you will like it.
Fusion Delay is a unique unit that offers a wonderful acoustic dispersion effect ideal for trance, house, dub, and other modern genres of electronic music. Acoustic dispersion offers musicians a new option for creating interesting delay processing. You will not have much luck finding a similar effect unit at your local music store.
